π―π½π π―ππππ π«πΆππΉπΆ Born Again Crypto. < Life 3.0 > A hand injury resulting in surgery forced me to become left hand dominant. Art was always around my life prior to the injury but now is my life. Everything had to transfer, I had to learn lines again, scales, texture, shapes, eyes, lipsβ¦ the basics about the basics. As all of the information transferred to the other side, synapse got stronger, I got better, so did the work. I saw light differently, painting speeds slowed, thoughts to a snail’s pace, the focus went up, concentration went through the roof and so did the difficulty but so did the confidence in the lines I was creating. The process was demanding, it forced me to not jeopardize shapes and cheat lines that I often did when painting on my right side. I sit differently in the chair, I faced the canvas a different angle, the water jar now sits on my left side.. It is tough to tell whether the increased quality of work resulted from the left hand, or was it now my left eye that was also fighting for dominance. We are all in quarantine. Things are different now, the world looks different, the paintings are now all a product of the left side and I think, β¦so are a lot of my thoughts. < HodL strong > ππ€πͺπΌπ΄
